The Missing Dining Table: Alternative Recovery Options for the Future
The Missing Dining Table: Alternative Restore options for the future
Singapore design firm designed a Creativeans amazing collection to present to the SaloneSatellite this year entitled The Dining Table missing. The organized collection of eight drawings began as an exploration of dining and how we, as a whole, dinner these days, leading to imagine restoration alternatives for the future.
The technology has led to a rather lonely way of life for many and over time our lifestyle changes with changes in eating habits. With this information, the Creativeans designed six pieces and invited a guest designer, Andrew Loh, to work on the other two.
Reflection by Andrew Loh
Looking at the way animals have become such integral parts of our lives, Reflection allows you to dinner with your four-legged friend. The design syncs meal of your pet food with yours with an integrated sensor that is triggered when a plate of food is set on the table. When this happens, it triggers the distributor of animal feed and camera so that you and your companion can dine face-to-face. When you do not eat, you can use it as a table to work.
Singular Andrew Loh
To celebrate eat alone, Singular allows you to lose yourself in a good book or your device as you dine on the road.
Wago by Creativeans
Wago takes you to the grocery store, to prepare food, all the way to eat, for it works like a basket, preparation station, and dining table. Perfect for food in the wild, as it is mobile.
Oryza by Creativeans
Oryza is disposable, hassle dining ware opens in a container in three dimensions to eat while you stand around and talk. You can easily eat with one hand and keep your nearest food for you.
Solaris by Creativeans
Solaris is a lamp to warm your food while you sit and work. During the colder months, put it to the side to get warm.
Coex by Creativeans
Coex is perfect for those who live small that it works as a bedside table and a stool just invert.
Venus by Creativeans
Venus is a double-sided board that works with appetizers and sweets on one side and contains pasta or soup another. It is easy to hold and carry as you move around.
Botanica Creativeans by
is a creative Botanica entire disposable cutlery that is in the form of a plant with "leaves" that can be taken to use as forks and spoons. It also serves as a reminder that the evening is when the leaves are all gone.
The exhibition was supported by the Council DesignSingapore, part of the Ministry of Communications and Information.
