The original 635 square foot loft is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The first thing that impresses is how modern, almost minimalist design combined with comfortable period touches. Space is monochromatic - black and white - and although the floors, walls and furniture are mostly modern, there are enough tricks and vintage accessories like a stylish fireplace in the corner, a couple of pieces furniture and of course the dark wooden beams that were left as they are and just painted. I think these beams give the space its personality and create a link between the past and the present. A good idea is to put the bedroom in the upper loft to make the space more intimate.
