Maxwan Architects + Planners turned an old barn in the Netherlands in a beautiful single-family residence. An amazing mix of styles - rustic, modern and a little bit Scandi - makes it very comfortable home. To expand the space the designers used large windows, an open-space plan and often light colors. For extremely high ceiling hisE they put a row of wooden beams imitating a ceiling, but not so heavy-looking statements. Wood natural white light and still look fantastic, and in combination with industrial furniture and lights, they are the charm! The furniture is mostly on wheels that can move around the house if you wish. The decor is simple and I like large open shelves: they have their own space and do something like a library. Wonderfully elegant simplicity
