Chilean box of glass and steel to admire nature Around - Lakeside House
This house is Colico Lake, in southern Chile. It is surrounded by fantastic nature that can be accessed right from inside the house through glass walls. The glass walls are supported by steel so they are light, transparent and sustainable. Three green glazed patios were carefully arranged in the plant open, dividing into different living spaces. The vegetation in the courtyards was designed as a way to articulate the interior space with nature. In addition, a "service" wall stone was built to provide support for the "crystal box". This wall connects us to the earth and the distance to history, as opposed to steel and glass, which connect us to modernity. Although some rooms can be seen from the living areas, you still have to pass through the security of the return area for the other rooms so that family members can ward upstairs to sleep, while others entertain or just enjoy the views.
