This modern house 12,300 square foot has a very complex composition , reminiscent of the paintings of Georges Braque, where geometric shapes appear and disappear in a constant dance of illusion and materiality. The structure overlooks the water and has a series of intimate courtyards and cantilever bridges. It consists of a series of neighborhood yet interlocking rectilinear volumes enclosed by a transparent longitudinal axis. A skin glass passageway connects and distinguishes the two dominant volumes, or towers, capturing the light and adding the sense of inner capaciousness.
