This live work designed residence for an interior designer and modern abstract painter on Sunset Hill, Seattle. The view towards Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula is free of structural problems with dramatic openings while the opposite side is stronger and private. The main materials used in construction are concrete walls and steel for frames. The volume consists of volumes to resign from north to south terraces. Lattice and green roofs cradle upstairs and a suite in a private and dramatic setting. The overall design is modern and functional and habitable. [Studio Ectypos]
