Black and White Wood Clad 3 Storey House on The Hill Side - by Stonehawke Base
This house of 20 m² is another beautiful contemporary work from the base architecture. It is located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and have recently won several prestigious Australian architectural awards. The house is stuck in the side of a hill and nestled in a large plot of wooded land protected environment. Her body wraps itself around an "above ground pool off form concrete" which also reflects charred wood in its internal finishing. The house is made of rough sawn plywood stained and galvanized steel. It's interior is made in the theme of black and white color that looks really elegant and modern. Although thanks to the materials of the house seems quite natural and blends well with the environment. The interior is made in the Australian spotted gum. It was used for the floors, joinery and windows / doors. From the street, it seems to be a 3-story home, but 0 percent of the program goes to the next level, which also happens to be at the level of natural soil because of the slope.
