Birnam Wood Residence in Santa Barbara, California, is a design that was born as a combined vision of the architect and the client live in a village. It is inspired by travel to Asia and personal ties with Asian culture. A series of pavilions that form the house also give the opportunity to the great indoor-outdoor relationship. 5400 square feet are covered by these pavilions. The gardens and pond become an inseparable part of this house and function as an extension of their living space.
