Jellyfish House With A cantilevered pool on the roof
It took Wiel Arets Architects 15 years to design and build the Jellyfish House. Located on the Spanish Mediterranean coast of Marbella, while the white concrete house is defined by a swimming pool on the roof that cantilevers to the stunning mountainscape Sierra Blanca. The pool has an infinity edge and visually merges with the ocean nearby, and features a glass floor that filters light at the entrance of the house just below. The interior continues to impress with luxurious features like kitchen service elevator that can serve food and drinks to the rooftop pool, walled in television and audio equipment and a sauna room. The bottom and sides of the pool can be seen from different angles inside the house through the clear windows in the kitchen and living room.
