McBride Charles Ryan is a design house of Australian company specializing mainly in experimental models. Their other project, Klein Bottle House had experience of mathematics when this house is an attempt to create the sphere-shaped house with no unnecessary parts. By selectively removing portions of the sphere, there is the feeling of being in and surrounded by a garden. The spherical shell also offers beautiful interiors of the first floor.

The interior contrasts with the outside has mostly linear forms that sometimes look as puzzle components. Not just form, but the colors and materials used give a puzzle print are carefully collected. Although these mixtures does not remove the comforts of home. The house also uses a lot of "green technologies".

Rainwater is collected from the copper roof covered by hidden gutters and stored in rainwater tanks installed in the south office. The dome house also uses solar hot water, a drip system and garden watering double glazing to maximize energy efficiency. These simple, durable features have been incorporated into the house in order to have minimal aesthetic impact.
