A familiar sight in Eastern Europe, particularly Slovakia, are huge buildings prefabricated panels, called paneláks, which were built after the war to deal with the housing shortage. They hold a lot of apartments and tend to be fairly simple in appearance. The buildings are what inspired Slovak design studio Lassak STUDIO Panelák to design a series of furniture with external memories that mimic the visual designer.

The collection includes a chest of three drawers, a mobile coffee table, and a wall lamp, each with the appearance of buildings on the surface panels.
