The Courtyard House - working and raising children in a place
The Courtyard House is home to two architects who called themselves studio Junction. It is located in the shell of a former warehouse front and backyards. It is inspired by an ancient form of architecture and a new form of North American urban thinking. The house is organized around a central courtyard that provides abundant light and a safe play area for the couple with two children. All windows look inward. The offices of the couple are also integrated into the home to combine work at home and watch the children. There are a lot of built-in storage around the house, including drawers under the stairs. With its warm and intelligent inside the house shows us how cool cool parent be when designing the house to be the perfect place to bring children up. [Studio Junction]
