House With Sculptural Cast Concrete Facade

Stevens Lawson, New Zeland architect, made a fine contribution in inner suburban neighbor Auckland Herne Bay by creating this house. The house is for one family and its main contribution to the street where it is located is its sculptural façade made of poured concrete. The facade has a form quite unusual and hide private spaces behind it. The house is made of different materials that change surprisingly each other, including concrete blocks, dark stained wood and white precast concrete. It has a rectangular shape and connects the front yard to the back yard. Public spaces such as living room, dining room and kitchen are on the first flor and three bedrooms are on the upper floor and the terrace with lives on the port. [Stevens Lawson]

If you liked the facade of this house, you will also like the roof of the house with Ribbon Hartee.
