Residence modern design with wood and beams
Bach Architects completed the overhaul of a 753 square foot apartment in Barcelona, Spain. The new configuration has been conditioned by the willingness of customers to keep both rooms to the front as bedrooms, while a new lounge, dining room, kitchen and study area were organized in the rest of the house. The generous height of the residence has helped design the kitchen, almost like a piece of furniture in the back of open space. Exposed beams and wooden additions make the interior of this small cozy and welcoming apartment. The focal point of the living room is a table suspended from the high ceiling to the floor. This surprising element can be used as a dining table or a desk by sitting on top of the kitchen volume.
