Rectangular concrete house turned on the side
Villa Drusch, designed by Claude Parent, a famous French modernist was built in 1963 for local industrial Drusch Gaston. It implements the "theory of oblique architecture" of the architect, because the house looks turned sideways. Simple rectangular concrete box becomes very original living space with difficult corners and open spaces. outdoor pool is set to give an ability to jump are the bedroom window. The living spaces are enclosed within glass aluminum which naturally illuminates the open interior. An internal staircase follows the external structure slope. A large number of inside surfaces are also concrete. Although the house is designed long ago, even today, it seems more contemporary.
