Modern minimalist Wrap House by Japanese Architects
Future Studio is the office of an architect based in Hiroshima, Japan, led by architect Bunzo Ogawa. Like many other Japanese architects they have interesting works under their belt. This house is one of those works. It is called Wrap House because of its characteristic shape. Its second floor has a cool terrace "wrapped" by several walls. Furthermore the house has a very contemporary and modern design with minimalist elements that are quite common in Japanese homes. The theme of the exterior color is purely black and white while the interior is more clear and more natural tones in them. There is not much furniture but lots of hidden storage, which does not spoil the minimalism of the interior. [Photos: Toshiyuki Yano; Source: Future Studio; Via: Dagens Design]
