Bates Masi + Architects need to create a home that was sensitive to environmental concerns and local zoning restrictions. All areas within the Northwest Harbor House are arranged using an innovative structural system that imbues them with natural light and circulating air. Northwest Harbor House uses stilts as an integral part of the overall design. The interiors are modern and quiet earthy colors; Natural light makes the space seem even larger than they are. The architects have managed not only to solve all the problems, but also provide stunning architecture and décor.
