Contemporary wooden house on the hill with Outstanding Staircase
Villa rebuilt Holmenkollen is on the hill near Oslo in Norway. The house has total area of 370 square meters, including garage and is designed by Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter. It has a fairly simple rectangular shape and made of wood panels and large windows from floor to ceiling. Such forms and materials make the design of the contemporary home and at the same time natural. The views from the windows are amazing. Forests, hills, lakes, everything could be seen while sitting in the warmness of the home. All levels are connected by a steel staircase of three floors which reinforces the sense of inhabiting the sky. Although the house is situated on the outskirts of Oslo, the nature around it worthwhile to drive to work from there every day. [Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter]
