And Sculptural Abstract Lakefront Weekend Home
Today I have another eye-candy to the edge Lake for you, and this is a weekend house by the lake in Massachusetts by Taylor Miller and architecture and design. The house is an abstract composition of volumes and shapes. A simple wall wood stacked serves both the retaining wall for the landscape and the main speaker of the house. A sculptural volume is hollow and is topped by a skylight. It brings natural light of an entrance hall on the lower level. The lower level contains two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, lobby and garage. The designers used the hot-rolled steel in the kitchen, rusted steel for stairs, and plywood for the skylights.
