Nendo Tokyo-based Trace Collection is a minimalist design created for collective Design. The fair, which has entered its fourth year in New York, marks the honor of being selected for the collective influence of exposure for which a designer or studio is chosen each year.

The collection focuses on everyday objects that "move", whether furniture, windows, or even doors; these are all elements that move relative to the daily activities of the people. Although they are not visible, we are unconsciously aware of "traces" of their movements every day. For example, a door, when opened or closed, form a semicircle when was in the drawing.

Nendo literally illustrates these traces using metal wireframe, enabling users to view the movement of each part without touching the item. In addition, a number of pieces in the collection have unexpected hinges, creating a variety of movements that would be quite unexpected to the user without the help of traces.
