This house is like no other! Its uniqueness is that it is completely coated with mosaic tiles to give it a complete look, this is how the homes of the future will look in my opinion.
based in Madrid Estudio zooco turned a 36 square meter open space with a clear and concise geometry in a real house covered with mosaics. The concept is to compress and expand the bands that run around the perimeter of the site to make the best of the small space, while dividing surprisingly. Various elements provide spatial tension, the configuration of circles needed to accommodate the house in its minimum expression. The system is very clear: to fill the perimeter that the use of space and the empty center, the generation of the living area
Each wall has a purpose and a function by creating a central stay where life is performed .. the surface of each of these vertical planes have different scenes that daily life requires. Looking from left to right apartment you will find: the sleeping area, formed by a wall that connects the sleeping area and the sleeping area; the bathroom, with a wall having an urban environment; kitchen and dining room, where you can find everything you need to use; and finally a green space with aromatic herbs that can disconnect from everyday life and enjoy an exceptional place.
