Stealth House - Contrast Contemporary house on a beautiful site -

This house of 246 square meters is a long low altitude, dark object at Acton Park, Australia. It is located as far away from trees as possible to maximize sun penetration. the color of the house is surrounded contrast with the landscape, but outside the building trying to disappear like a stealth bomber in the shade of mature trees adjacent pine. To maximize winter solar gain and cross ventilation in all rooms of the house have the linear plan. The stretched shape also answers to the open landscape.

The volume of the house is folded in both horizontal and vertical planes, providing many variations of micro-form of the room and windows. It is located on a concrete surface with two parallel walls and geometries of this disjunction provides a doorway and "mini-offices" fragmentary to study and dining room. Thus the complex home and update geometry is based on this most quintessential of Australian suburban characteristic.
