Mid-Century London Apartment With Creamy Oak Interiors
The owners of this lovely apartment in London wanted to see a light entertaining space with a touch of 70s chic - and they got it! Interior designer Daniel Hopwood created an elegant oak interior, creamy to complete by mid-century furniture from the collection of customers. vivid colors splashing solely from the art collection and some cool accessories. Only the library room and reading is charcoal gray walls and shelves that covers an entire wall, and the lighting has been designed to be moody and subdued. While the design is mostly mid-century, the materials used are modern: Corian, steel and various metals. The space is elegant and stylish, and the use of color is moderate but interesting.
