Foothill Gem is the house near Paradise Valley and capture their stunning views and the spirit of mining. It is designed and built by Big Timberworks and outside patinated metal and wood exterior. Such outside looks "old" in stark contrast with the interior with a lot of contemporary elements in its design. This three-storey house has the main living space on one floor while the other two were designed for customers. Although the interior is mostly done in the traditional style and comfortable wooden furniture, it also has not only contemporary but modern elements. One of these elements is a combination of steel bars with wood on the kitchen ceiling. A unique architectural feature of the house is the rock roof surface that protects the roof membrane of transparent rubber. [Big Timberworks]
