This award winning eco-house built modular environment is a project by Architecton and Shelter Industries. The 1400 square foot home in the form of v-holiday is the result of the growing interest in the preservation of environmental resources by using reclaimed, recycled materials and sustainable products. The exterior of the house is made of cedar wood and steel coating with a custom manufactured metal roof. Windows are designed to save energy as other energy efficient appliances in the house. The roof is designed to collect rainwater. The modular design reduces construction budget.
The wing kitchen / great wing and room, linked to the main entrance and the platform courtyard, provide multiple access to the platform. The surrounding landscape features herbs and plants resistant to drought and conserving water. The house is designed to make the boundary between interior and exterior transparent. [EcoFabulous Home]
