An outdoor chair that looks like Stitched Together
before See the photo Baldessari e Baldessari designed ZIGOZAGO, an outdoor chair that looks as if it was zigzag stitched together. Designed for Taiwanese brand Lagoon, the chair is molded polypropylene to seem like it is made of two pieces, but it is actually just one part.
Although the sewing does not hold the chair together did attach the seat cover that slips over the upper part of the chair. The cover is easily released and is available in different fabrics to customize the appearance.
The chairs are available in different color combinations that were inspired by the colors found in lagoons in the world. The shell of the chair was designed after the geometry found in nature - veins and veins on the leaves. The metal structure on the bottom is painted the same color as the shell.
ZIGOZAGO debuted at the Milan Design Week 2016.
